Daruma-ya

Davide, one of our friends, apparently loves going here. It’s a ramen shop, but also has other “Chinese” dishes. I put quotation because it’s not really Chinese because those dishes have become Japanese-nized.

Here are two dishes they ordered:

Pan fried gyoza, which I couldn’t find in Shanghai.

And yasai soba (veggie noodles in soup). Although it’s “soba” the noodles aren’t actually soba but flour based. The noodles are probably handmade there. It had a good texture.
