Fanqie Chaodan – step by step

First meal that Jeff has ever made in front of me: fanqie chaodan!

I got to take step by step pictures since I wasn’t the chef. Here is Jeff’s fanqie chaodan.
4 eggs
4 tomatoes
olive oil
chicken bouillon
black pepper
1. cut the tomatoes into wedges. whisk the eggs in a bowl.
2. heat olive oil in a pan, then once it is hot, put the tomatoes in. Leave them in and stir until they become soft.
3. add the whisked eggs into the pan with tomatoes. Add about a tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt, and add vinegar to your liking. About 2 tsp of chicken bouillon.
4. use chopsticks and a wooden spatula to stir the eggs so that they become scrambled. Once the eggs have hardened, put it on a plate, then add some black pepper as you wish.

We also had the most healthy pita chips (homemade!) with Parmesan with salsa.

and salty white fish for our protein 🙂
