Trident Bookstore is Marie’s absolute favorite spot to go in Boston. Ever since her first encounterment at the bookstore three years ago, she’s been telling me that we’d go there one day. And that one day finally happened!
The bookstore is located right at the end of Newbury Street in Boston, close to Hynes Convention Center t-stop. The bookstore is open from early morning at eight to midnight everyday. Books that range in genre are stacked on the table or on the wooden bookshelves.
The cafe is of course the center of this entry. Their menu has many breakfast items but does not have a time restriction – as long as they have the ingredients, they’d make you breakfast any time.
Marie went for a breakfast dish: Apple Brie Omelette, which is pretty self explanatory, an omelette with apples and brie inside, with toast on the side. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap, that had their classic Caesar salad tossed with grilled chicken in a soft flour tortilla. Came with french fries. The crispy cesar salad had too much ranch dressing for my personal preference, but their ranch was a good one, so I enjoyed it 🙂 The wrap was really big (American size!) so it was a bit hard to bite into. Big nom noms.
