It’s an updated version of TBM. TBMPS stands for tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, prosciutto, and smoked salmon. They are usually in a sandwich form, but this variety came with more color, as we made them into wraps, sandwiches, and neatly stacked it between hamburger buns! Brilliant, yes?
The idea originally came from wanting caprese salad, which includes mozzarella, tomato, and basil with salt and olive oil. For this occasion, we made the already luxury TBM into even higher scale food with prosciutto and smoked salmon, which I dearly love. Not to mention, these additional ingredients go more than perfectly well with TBM ingredients, bringing saltiness to the heavenly bite.
This creation came true on a day we were driving far away to Lenox, MA, where we went to Tanglewood. The traffic and the rain slowed our tempo but perhaps brought more happiness to eating TBMPS, one of the best homemade creations I made in history to date, in the car and also at the green and wide picnic area at Tanglewood.
